The engine behind this website is not published because it is tightly related to my needs, and because better web frameworks are now widely available.
How is this site built?
These pages use exclusively XHTML 1.1 and CSS. They conform to W3C standards and respect accessibility guidelines.
The original PHP, XHTML and CSS code was written in SubEthaEdit and edited directly on the server with Cyberduck. It is maintained and updated with vim. The website is tested and deployed on an Apache web server with PHP5, running on Gentoo Linux. Testing involved MAMP, Firefox and its extensions, Safari, Chrome, Internet Explorer, and of course the W3C validators.
